South Somerset Homes and Rok promote their partnership to all
2 December 2005

South Somerset Homes and their building partner Rok have decided to promote their partnership to all by jointly branding their works vans. Both companies who have been working in partnership since 2003 have a strong branding and have brought this together on one van.

Rok are one of the main partners for SSH on all planned maintenance works, which includes fitting new heating systems, fitting new windows, new kitchens and bathrooms, rewiring etc. They also undertake much of the external refurbishment of the pre cast reinforced concrete houses.

Rok are also building many of South Somerset Homes’ new homes. 4 new homes at Chard, 13 at Castle Cary and the 2 at Barton St David have been completed and may more are on site including 19 new homes in Henstridge and 32 in Milborne Port.

Mark Mullen, Head of Planned Maintenance said, “We wanted to show everyone that we are serious about our partnership and jointly branding our vans shows how both SSH and Rok's strong branding can work well together. I think the van is really striking, which is great.”

Chris Hyde, Rok's Regional Director said, "We work in true partnership to provide best value and a good service to the residents. We wanted our vans to reflect this and be recognised in the local community." .nroup
