Mad Hatters Easter Tea Party for South Somerset Homes residents in Wincanton

Residents of South Somerset Homes owned sheltered housing scheme at Rodber Gardens, Wincanton have planned an afternoon of Easter entertainment.

On Tuesday 18 th March residents will enjoy a Mad Hatters Tea Party, Easter hat competition, raffle and people can enjoy tea and homemade cake for a pound. The event will be opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Wincanton, Mr & Mrs Winder. The Mayor and Mayoress will also judge the Easter hat competitions. The event will run from 2.30pm in the communal room of Rodber Gardens and the event is open to everybody to join in the fun and look around the scheme.

Carol Glass Scheme Manager commented, ‘The residents are really looking forward to demonstrating their creative hat and cake baking skills. The event will be great fun and we would love to see as many members of the community as possible to help us raise funds for the scheme to have a day trip or a meal somewhere.’
