Your opportunity to have a look around a sheltered scheme - Davies Close, Winsham

8 June 2007

Davies Close sheltered scheme in Winsham, which is owned and managed by South Somerset Homes, is opening its doors to the public on Friday 15 June between 10.30 am and 12 noon.

The free event will include an opportunity to speak with the Scheme Manager, Maureen Marsh, to meet some of the residents, find out about some of the activities enjoyed by residents and tour the facilities.

South Somerset Homes has over 50 older person’s schemes. Sheltered housing comprises one and two bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom flats. They all have a community alarm system and communal lounge where residents can enjoy many varied activities. Sheltered housing enables residents to enjoy their own personal security and independence. When support is needed, it is available from the Scheme Manager.
