9 May 2005
A tenant of South Somerset Homes who lives at Penn View in Wincanton is absolutely thrilled with the improvement works that have been undertaken to her home. Julia White has lived at her home in Penn View since May 1997.
The works undertaken included a complete internal re-decoration of the property i.e. painting and decorating; improving the whole kitchen layout and installing new fitted kitchen cupboards; a bathroom suite; gas central heating and re-wiring of the whole property.

Improvement works have been undertaken to 16 properties at Penn View with the whole project taking 30 weeks to complete. The contractor who carried out the work for South Somerset Homes was Yeovil based Rok Build.
Julia explained that the workmen had been absolutely brilliant whilst working in her home. “I want to say a big thank you to the workmen for the marvellous work they have done. Nothing was too much trouble and they answered my queries with an infinite amount of patience. I would especially like to say a special thank you to Tony Richards, the Site Foreman who was always so helpful and charming.”
