Yarlington Homes hosted a successful open day at Chard Guildhall on Wednesday 9 th January between 12 noon and 7pm to showcase an exciting new housing development in Chard, comprising of stunning 1, 2 & 3 bedroom houses and apartments to rent or buy on a shared ownership basis. With shared ownership properties starting from just £50,000 this was a fantastic opportunity for local people to get onto the housing ladder. Shared ownership is available for those who cannot afford to buy a home on the open market. The new development is a scheme that enables potential homeowners to buy a home in stages by purchasing a share of the property and renting the remainder of the property from South Somerset Homes. The event proved a great success with around fifty local people attending and the feedback received was very positive, highlighting the need for local affordable housing such as the property development in Chard.

Those who attended were able to view Yarlington homes high specification designs providing very generous room sizes which dwarf those of many new-build homes. All of Yarlington homes are designed for comfortable and practical living and are all fitted with energy efficient Worcester Bosch condensing boilers.
