South Somerset Homes’ building partner Rok has recently hosted a general knowledge quiz for the residents of sheltered schemes in Curry Rivel and Fivehead. They hosted the quiz as a thank you to the residents for their patience and corporation whilst major improvements works were carried out to their schemes.
At Parsonage Place in Curry Rivel the communal room at the scheme has been completely redecorated with new carpets, curtains and furniture. They also have a brand new kitchen area built off the communal room plus a brand new disabled toilet and shower.
Peggy Read, a resident at Parsonage Place said, “The community hall and the kitchen is like stepping into a brand new building, we are so pleased with it".
