to discuss Northbrook Road Regeneration Scheme
14 February 2006
South Somerset Homes are to open their doors to discuss the plans for the regeneration of the Northbrook Road area of Yeovil. The open day will be on Wednesday 22 February from 12 noon until 8.00pm at South Somerset Homes Headquarters, Alvington in Yeovil.
A short presentation followed by a questions and answers session will begin at 12 noon, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. After each presentation and questions and answer session residents and guests will be able to have some light refreshments followed by a further opportunity to chat with the representatives. At the Open Day there will be representatives from Housing Association South Somerset Homes, Contractors Connaught and Mansell, the Police, timber frame manufacturers Space 4/Frame UK and architects Calfordseaden.
Mike Kay, Director of Asset Management said, “We very much hope that many of our residents can come, as we feel that it would be a good opportunity to explain how we would like to improve the area in which they live and find out what their views and opinions are about it. We will be offering a free bus service to and from the open day for all the residents who would like to come but do not have their own transport.”
