Staff at South Somerset Homes support Red Nose Day 2005
14 March 2005
On Friday 11 March 2005 staff at South Somerset Homes got into the red spirit and swapped their usual office attire and donned their crazy red garments – ranging from t-shirts, socks and trousers to wearing red wigs and masks – all in support of Red Nose Day 2005.
Some members of staff also baked scones with strawberry jam and cream, homemade sausage rolls and cakes to sell. In doing so they raised over £150. The cash raised will help tackle poverty and social injustice, both in the UK and Africa.
