South Somerset Homes Scheme Managers
successfully complete computer courses
16 February 2004

Three Scheme Managers of South Somerset Homes owned sheltered housing schemes in Wincanton, Queen Camel and Ilchester have successfully completed two computer courses.

Irene Vincent (Millbrook Gardens, Castle Cary), Sue Wright (Cleaveside Close, Queen Camel) and Cathy Rutherford (Great Orchard, Ilchester) completed the ten week ‘Introduction to Computers' and twenty week ‘New Clait' course at the Balsam Centre in Wincanton.

The courses covered areas such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphs and charts.

Sue Wright, Scheme Manager at Cleaveside Close, Queen Camel said “These courses have been just fantastic and have given me, Cathy and Irene so much more confidence to have a go at different things like posters, charts, graphs and even newsletters.”
