South Somerset Homes' residents are young at heart

A couple who live at a South Somerset Homes’ owned sheltered scheme in Yeovil have recently celebrated their engagement.

Ada Overd (75 years old) and Ron Hemsworth (78 years old) are both residents of St Johns Road sheltered housing scheme in Yeovil.

Ada only moved to the scheme a year ago where she met Ron, who lives opposite. They became friends and then romance blossomed, leading to Ron popping the question on the 17 March.

There is no wedding date planned as yet, the couple are just enjoying taking things as they come!
