South Somerset Homes residents complete
‘Computers without Fear’ course
17 July 2006

Residents at a sheltered housing scheme in Somerton have recently completed a ‘Computers without Fear’ course. Residents at Parsonage Close sheltered housing scheme, which is owned and managed by South Somerset Homes, completed this FREE six-week course at the scheme with tutors from Yeovil College.

The residents who completed the course were Rosemary Coles, Tony Bateman, James Whelan, May Easman and Derek Hayward.

Tony Bateman said, “The course content was excellent, the tutors were helpful and fortunately very patient, who helped make it an enjoyable and informative course. I now feel more confident in using my pc.”

Sandra Paul, the course tutor at Yeovil College said, "They are a joy to teach; their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn shines through."
