17th December 2007

South Somerset Homes residents of Extra Care Sheltered Scheme Bowhayes Lodge, Crewkerne were treated to a special performance from Ashlands Infant School on Thursday 13 th December, who beautifully sang Christmas carols and songs from their Christmas show. Residents enjoyed afternoon tea and biscuits during the performance and squash and cake were on hand for the pupils after their performance. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the performance and joined in to sing carols with the pupils.

Scheme Manager Caroline Searle said ‘The pupils and residents had a brilliant time. We would like to thank Ashlands Infant School for taking the time out to the scheme and singing to the residents. The pupils all sang beautifully and it has certainly got all the residents in a festive mood ready for Christmas.’
