Your opportunity to have a look around a
South Somerset Homes’ sheltered scheme

18 May 2007

Cleaveside Close in Queen Camel, one of South Somerset Homes’ sheltered schemes is opening its doors to the public on Friday 1 June between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm.

The free event will include an opportunity to speak with Sue Wright, Scheme Manager, to meet some of the residents, find out about some of the activities enjoyed by residents and tour the facilities.

South Somerset Homes has over 50 older person’s schemes. Sheltered housing comprises one and two bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom flats. They all have a community alarm system and communal lounge where residents can enjoy many varied activities. Sheltered housing enables residents to enjoy their own personal security and independence. When support is needed, it is available from the Scheme Manager.

For more information about the scheme please contact Sue Wright, Scheme Manager on 01935 850894.

The local media are invited to a photo opportunity on Friday 1 June at 11.00 am at Cleaveside Close sheltered scheme, Queen Camel. For more information please contact Julie Whatford on 01935 404509.
