SSH staff support Red Nose Day 2007
19 March 2007
On Friday 16 March 2007 staff at South Somerset Homes got into the red spirit and swapped their usual office attire and donned their crazy red garments – ranging from t-shirts, socks and trousers to wearing red wigs, hats, noses and ears – all in support of Red Nose Day 2007.
Some members of staff also baked cakes to sell, which followed the red theme from chocolate brownies with cherries on top to flapjack with cranberries!
In doing so they raised £420. The cash raised will help tackle poverty and social injustice, both in the UK and Africa.
