Two Scheme Managers of Sheltered Housing Schemes in South Somerset are retiring after twenty five years service for South Somerset Homes and South Somerset District Council.

Theresa James, Scheme Manager at Fivehead Sheltered Housing Scheme in Taunton and June Higgins, Scheme Manager at Monksdale Sheltered Housing Scheme in Yeovil have been Scheme Managers for 30 and 28 years respectively.

When asked about their plans for the future, Theresa said “I am staying in Fivehead, I have lived here for so long that I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.” June is moving to Castle Cary but plans to visit her residents in Yeovil. “I am going to come back and help with some of the gardens.” she explained.
