A sheltered housing scheme in Mudford near Yeovil has raised over £100 for St Margaret's Somerset Hospice. Hales Meadow Sheltered Housing Scheme, which is owned and managed by South Somerset Homes, has raised the money through hosting a mad hatters ‘tea at 3' party for the residents and friends of the scheme.

The residents and friends who attended the tea party all made their own hats and made a donation towards St Margaret's Somerset Hospice.

Mary Glanville, Scheme Manager said “We all had a lovely afternoon and I am thrilled at the effort that everyone has made making their hats, they are all superb.”
