Cleaveside Close, a sheltered housing scheme in Queen Camel, which is owned and managed by South Somerset Homes, has recently celebrated its 25 th anniversary. The Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, Lt. Col. G. W. Luttrell, originally opened the scheme in 1979.

Residents, family and friends enjoyed a buffet lunch and drinks to celebrate its anniversary and eldest residents Marjorie Brooks and Marjorie Hawker who have been resident's since the scheme opened had the honour of cutting the cake.

Susan Wright, Scheme Manager at Cleaveside Close said, “It has been a really super day, everyone has joined in the celebrations.”
