Staff at South Somerset Homes raise vital funds for Yummy Mummy Week
25 September 2006

Staff at South Somerset Homes joined in the fun at South Somerset Homes’ headquarters at Alvington in Yeovil during Yummy Mummy Week 2006, which ran from 16 to 24 September. Members of staff throughout the company baked all sorts of different cakes for sell from chocolate muffins to carrot cake, cookies to fairy cakes. In doing so they raised £260!

Chloe Deacon, Yummy Mummy Week organiser and Lettings and Sales Manager at South Somerset Homes said, “I am a Mum myself and every mum needs some fun and Yummy Mummy Week is all about bringing family, friends and work colleagues together for a few laughs and, at the same time, raising money for families whose lives have been torn apart by childhood cancer.”

Yummy Mummy Week 2006 is hoping to raise more than £400,000 for the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent.
