A sheltered housing scheme in West Coker near Yeovil now has its own brand new recycling scheme for all the residents to use. Burrells House Sheltered Housing scheme in West Coker had t he bins installed at the beginning of April this year.

Sue Andrews, Scheme Manager at Burrells House, said, “The bins have been really successful; they are very much like large wheelie-bins. We have two for paper, one for tins and one for glass bottles and jars . The residents find them very easy to use. All in all they are very neat and tidy and now we don't have to make special journeys to do the recycling and they are emptied fortnightly.”
