Chatham Place, Curry Rivel

Working in partnership with Connaught we have built 22 new affordable homes at Chatham Place in Curry Rivel . We used a precision engineered off-site manufactured timber frame as the fulcrum around which the homes will be completed in the form of Space4. The new homes have been allocated for rent and shared ownership.

In Phase 1 we demolished 2 old concrete houses and a garage site and in their place have built 8 brand new homes for rent.

Phase 1 was completed in August 2005.

In Phase 2 we demolished 6 old concrete houses and in their place have built 14 brand new homes for rent. This scheme is made up of the following units:

2 x 3-bedroom 5 person houses (3 storey)
3 x 3-bedroom 5 person houses (2 storey)
3 x 2 bedroom 4 person houses (2 storey)
6 x 1-bedroom 2 person apartments

Phase 2 was completed in July 2006.
