Waiting List

As from 1 st November 2004 the Housing Register (or Waiting List) is now dealt with by South Somerset District Council and not South Somerset Homes. This is because the Council has created a new team called ‘Housing Options’ which deals with a range of housing issues including the housing register, homelessness and liaison with all housing associations working in South Somerset.

For a housing application form or to check how your housing application is progressing, change the areas where you would like to live on your application form or find out how applications are assessed please contact ‘Housing Options’ by email acommodation.team@southsomerset.gov.uk or call them on 01935 462738.

Please also contact ‘Housing Options’ if you would like to apply for housing, find out about options in shared ownership or the possibility of being housed by another housing association in South Somerset by applying to go on the housing register.
