Rok and SSH team up to offer £10,000 worth of building and refurbishment to South Somerset Mind.

Rok and SSH have offered one luck community group to £10,000 as the winner of the community challenge 2008. The winners South Somerset Mind who are based in Dampier Street, Yeovil impressed Rok and SSH who studied 18 applications to choose a proposal that would bring lasting benefits to a large number of people. South Somerset Mind help mental health sufferers in Yeovil. The main bulk of the project will involve refurbishing and renovating the main hall into a number of areas.

Garden Competiton

The garden competition has been running for a number of years and is still one of the highlights in the SSH calendar. Now it's your chance to join in. Whether it is a huge back garden, tiny front garden, a collection of tubs on your balcony, or a patch of land you share with your neighbours we want your entry.

The winner of the best overall garden in each area will be awarded a stone garden feature or garden vouchers to the value of £150.

The closing date for all entries is Monday 14th July.
