South Somerset Homes Director of Housing, David Mansfield

David Mansfield joined South Somerset Homes as Area Director in March 1999 from South Somerset District Council. He became Director of Housing in June 2002. He was previously both Regional Manager and national Housing Management Co-ordinatior for North British Housing Association. David began his career as a housing management trainee at SSDC in 1978.

South Somerset Homes Director of Asset Management, Mike Kay

Mike joined SSH in August 2002. He was previously Head of Technical Services, Development and New Business for English Churches Housing Group. Before this Mike worked for Hampshire County Council as Principle Building Surveyor and then Principle Building Manager. Mike began his career working for Yorkshire Regional Health Authority as Technical Officer.

South Somerset Homes Director of Finance, Caroline Moore

Caroline Moore joined SSH in February 2002. She previously worked for PriceWaterHouse Coopers as Senior Manager – Public Services, first at the London office and after that at the Bristol office where she developed the South West practice in housing and public sector. Caroline began her career as a bank clerk for Nat West Bank before going to university, after which she worked for the Housing Corporation as Senior Financial Supervision Officer.

South Somerset Homes Chief Executive, Geoff Atkinson

Geoff joined South Somerset Homes in December 1998. He was previously Chief Housing Officer at Winchester City Council. His wealth of experience in social housing stretches back over twenty years to his beginnings as a trainee in Housing Management for Barnsley MBC. From here Geoff was promoted to Assistant Housing Manager and then Housing Manager at Leeds City Council. From here he was promoted to Area Housing Manager at Wakefield MDC before moving to Carrick District Council as Deputy, then Acting Chief Housing Officer.
