Who we are
South Somerset Homes is a housing association. We are an independent, not for profit organisation, known more formally as a registered social landlord (RSL).
Our day-to-day operations are managed by paid staff, but an unpaid Board made up of members from the local community directs our activities as a social landlord.
What we do
South Somerset Homes provides over 8,000 affordable homes for rent and shared ownership, together with homes and support for vulnerable and older people
in the South West. Our vision goes beyond the home, and we use our experience, skills and resources to help regenerate the communities in which we work. The Company is a growing, progressive social business, which places a strong emphasis on good customer care and the continuous improvement of its service delivery.
