How You Can Pay Your Rent
Click here to pay your rent online. You will need to quote your Personal Identification Number which is printed on the bottom right of your rent payment card or contact the office and we will advise you of your number.
You can pay your rent using the following methods:
- Direct Debit - Monthly
Straight from your bank account on either the 7th or 28th of each month
- Standing Order – Weekly, Fortnightly Calendar Month
Straight from your bank account. The main difference between standing order and direct debit is that with a standing order you have to tell the bank when the amount you pay changes. With direct debit we will tell the bank about any changes. here to download Standing Order Form
- Debit / Credit Cards
If you would like to pay using your card you can either call us on 01935 404540 or pop in to our headquarters at Alvington in Yeovil. You can also pay on line using your debit or credit card.
- Cheque / Postal Orders
Cheques should be made payable to South Somerset Homes and sent to:

You should never send cash through the post and always quote your name, address and reference number with your payment.
- Cash Desk at our Alvington office
- At South Somerset District Council offices

Payments can be made at any Post Office outlet in the UK, as long as you have your rent payment card
Payment (Cash only) can be made at any Pay Point and/or Pay Zone in the UK, as long as you have your rent payment card.
